You cannot vote on your own post. If you *can*, it is probably a bug and should be brought to someone's attention.

When you look at your own post, you will see it's reputation listed, the same as if was someone else's post that you have already voted on. Once you have cast all your votes for the day, the voting radio buttons will disappear and the only thing you will see at the top of a post is its reputation - if, and only if, the post is yours, or you have already given it a thumbs (up)|(down)
