Aaaah ... that's how it's happened. Turns out there's already a bug report for this at http://rt.cpan.org/Public/Bug/Display.html?id=40656 and the proposed/recommended fix is to simply remove the use GD::Group; from GD/Simple.pm. Cheers, Rob
