How to get the new Parrot PIR book?

I saw on the blog aggregator planet.perl.org (in chromatic's "Perl 6 Design minutes for 29 July 2009") that Allison et al had published a book about PIR, "available in online stores, including Scribd".

The book wasn't on my MySafari. There seems to be a PIR book on docs.parrot.org, but the book on scribd costs some money so it might be different (Scribd wouldn't sell outside US, sigh).

Is the documentation on parrot.org the same as the book? On which online stores can I get/buy it?

(I post this instead of asking in the chatter box because others might be interested.)

Amazon has Parrot Developer's Guide: PIR by Alison Randal, Andrew Whitworth, and The Parrot Development Team (Neon Onyx Press; June 15, 2009) for $15.00; Scribd has a download for $10.00. I suspect that the reason that you didn't find it on Safari is that PGD:PIR is not published by O'Reilly.

Is the documentation on parrot.org the same as the book?

More or less yes (I think all of our edits and changes are in the Parrot SVN repository now) in the docs/book/ subdirectory.
