Sorry, I am aparently still not being clear. I do not want to hide the general information about XP from a user so I would still advocate showing levels. However, I think showing the current value of the XP as a number leads to excessive emphasis on XP itself. So if I were to look at my node I would simply see 'Level: Monk (5)' and the experience would be removed. Then if I were to look at a post I would see 'Reputation: Good', or something, to indicate that the post was generally well received. There may be gradations within a level so that you can see how you are progressing towards the next level, and what your current direction (and possibly speed) is. However, all of this may be overkill, so perhaps showing the raw XP is sufficient. Does that make any sense? -ben
