It seems to me that you've volunteered for the wrong task then. You claim you don't have the Perl knowledge necessary. I recommend that you either acquire that knowledge or pay somebody with that knowledge.

This site is about learning Perl and helping people to learn Perl. It is not a script writing service. We expect you to do the main part of the work.

You have been shown the tools necessary to accomplish your task but you haven't shown any effort on your part.

Thank you for your message. Yes, that's correct, I have volunteered for the wrong task and I've stated that a few times... I'm an administrator, not a programmer. I volunteered to prevent losing a functional CGI/Perl forum to a PHP-based forum.

Thank you for clarifying this website's objectives. My expectations was that a Perl magician could see the required code and offer a solution, after which I would have gladly donated to this website.

Please provide a solution if you have one. For example, a person(s) or website URLs which can offer to code the solution. Thank you.
