Is it really going to save time to start from scratch instead of say putting energy into B::CC/perlcc ? I have not used it myself, but it looks like something that could benefit from the community, if Malcolm Beattie is still working on it. Otherwise quite excited, we've needed this for a looong time.

    No-one said we would start from scratch....we may be using something that Malcolm wrote, but his basic idea is to use a c-compiler to create the executables and that's not likely to become our way to do it...

    But who knows....
