I've got a domain name that I've been parking for too long. I want to start working on it. So I am looking for a host. Before I sign up with someone, I wanted to get some input. Who should I stay away from? What to look for in a host? What's a cheap (monthly) price and what isn't? This is what I am looking for:
- Unix based host with shell access.
- mod_perl, mason, etc.
- ftp, a few email accounts, etc.
- Am I leaving anything off?
Of course, there's pair, but what else are any of you using?
