While there is scenic beauty in the Alps, you'll find lots of human population and tourists there too. Tourism is a large business there, so it'll feel like a commercial hub there too.
On the other hand, if you're not accustomed to Europe, you might not notice the commerce there and maybe be able to enjoy the nature better :)
