With the government that us Brits voted in, it's difficult in the extreme to tell, from their 'policies', when any day is not April 1st - ergo, April 1st is just another day.

A user level that continues to overstate my experience :-))

Probably not original, but Piet Koornhof (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piet_Koornhof) famously said that every time he made a joke, people thought it was a policy statement. And every time he made a policy statement, people thought he was joking.

      Regards,

      John Davies

Year after year I wait for a real good joke or prank. Year after year, I am left disappointed.

How long does it take to conceive a good joke?

..the day when my foolish existence is foolishly justified by all the foolishness around me...

    And I laugh foolishly...

...the majority is always wrong, and always the last to know about it...
Insanity: Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results...

You must not be a cook.

Oddly enough, cooking is the thing I do the same over and over again with unpredictable, inconsistent results!
You are correct, I am not a cook. :-)
