"Pluralizing" table names is default behavior. http://search.cpan.org/~rkitover/DBIx-Class-Schema-Loader-0.07033/lib/DBIx/Class/Schema/Loader/Base.pm#inflect_plural. Defaults can be changed is you dislike them.
