Hi Monks!

Excuse me. if something is wrong with this node. This my first post here.

I am refreshing perlmonk's, Recently Active Threads page every time to get update on that page, to get new questions or reply for the existing questions? Why it does not automatically refreshed for particular time period?

Replies are listed 'Best First'.

If you just want to be informed about answers to your posts, go to Message Settings and check "/msg me when there's a reply to one of my posts".

The chatterbox sidebar is automatically refreshed and will show these messages.

RAT uses a lot of resources, I doubt that the gods will ever provide an automatic refresh.

    Cheers Rolf

Since normal Ctrl+r chokes after having clicked on I've checked all these, I have the following in my Free Nodelet:
    <a href="/?node=Recently%20Active%20Threads" accesskey="r"></a>
On any PM page, pressing Alt+r takes me to the fresh RATs (but I usually use it only on the RATs themselves to referesh).

    Hello vinoth.ree,

In Opera, you can right-click on the page and select: Reload Every | Custom | ... to re-load the page automatically (as often as once every 10 seconds).

Not exactly what you were looking for, I know, but you may find it useful.

Athanasius <°(((><contra mundum Iustus alius egestas vitae, eros Piratica,

I am using Mozilla firefox 18.0.2. Ubuntu. Instead of doing setup in our browser to reresh the page, Could not Perlmonks's refresh that page?

This is not wanted. The Recently Active Threads do put some load on the servers that I would like to avoid, especially if nobody is looking at the results.

How often is that, once every 10 minutes?

I'm not sure, but few ideas come to mind -- it is kinda expensive, and its not the chatterbox
