Hello saint Juerd.

Apache/1.3.14 (Win32) mod_perl/1.24_02-dev running...

#!/usr/bin/perl -w use strict; use Safe; use CGI::Carp qw( fatalsToBrowser ); print "Content-type: text\html\r\n\r\n"; print "<pre>"; Safe->new->reval('print 123;'); print "\n Safe version is $Safe::VERSION \n"; print `perl -v`; __DATA__ <pre>123 Safe version is 2.06 This is perl, v5.6.0 built for MSWin32-x86-multi-thread Copyright 1987-2000, Larry Wall Perl may be copied only under the terms of either the Artistic License + or the GNU General Public License, which may be found in the Perl 5.0 source +kit. Complete documentation for Perl, including FAQ lists, should be found +on this system using `man perl' or `perldoc perl'. If you have access to + the Internet, point your browser at http://www.perl.com/, the Perl Home Pa +ge.
I have no problems. Perhaps you'd like to enlighten us as to what versions of stuff you're playing with?

    Debian GNU/Linux with 2.4.18-gr-preempt, Apache 1.3.24-3, mod_perl 1.27, Perl 5.6.1, Ssafe 2.06.
    RedHat Linux with 2.2.20-ow, Apache 1.3.24, mod_perl 1.27, Perl 5.6.0, Safe 2.06

Could this be the one thing in which Windows is better? :)
