OT: A link to enlightenment

I found the following link very enlightening. The Dhammapada: The Buddha's Path of Wisdom. And Dhammapada 25: The Monk is especially enlightening.

For example, "363. That monk who has control over his tongue, is moderate in speech, unassuming and who explains the Teaching in both letter and spirit -- whatever he says is pleasing."

The first degree of wisdom is to know how to be silent; the second one is to know how to speak little and control one's speaking; the third one is to know how to speak a lot, without while speaking neither badly nor too much.

    Ciao, Valerio

Update: Ehm, you are right theorbtwo :-) Thanks a lot to premchai21 for suggesting a correction! May be one day I will stop using Babelfish :)

...to know how to speak a lot, without speaking neither badly nor too much.

An art you seem to have mastered... !(!(speaking badly || too much)) => (speaking badly || too much). Whoops. (Nonetheless, I agree with your setiment. valdez++)

    I like that one:

"A monk who does not despise what he has received, even though it be little, who is pure in livelihood and unremitting in effort -- him even the gods praise."
