Aaah ... I had missed the fact that he hadn't actually asked a question beyond what was in the subject line. I actually read his post as "how to stop module::build from building html docs. thanks in advance". could you please tell me how to reproduce the OP's problem? Whenever he runs './Build.PL' followed by './Build', the Build process terminates with the production of HTML documentation. He wants to turn that feature off ... that's all. I see you've tested it and found that you don't get html docs produced. When I test it, I do get html docs produced (using the M-B that ships with 5.10.0). I would expect it's controllable, or reliant upon some POD documentation being found .... or somesuch. (I don't have the answer to his question.) Cheers, Rob
