You should read the docs of modules before you try to install them. Under "bugs" it says:

This module does not work under Windows, but I can't see why, and do not have a development platform under that system. Patches and explanations very welcome.

Examine what is said, not who speaks -- Silence betokens consent -- Love the truth but pardon error.
"Science is about questioning the status quo. Questioning authority".
In the absence of evidence, opinion is indistinguishable from prejudice.
Coming to PPM, their repository doesnt have HTTP-Proxy, so cant install

        Perhaps because of this?

Have you tried using the PPM that came with ActiveState Perl? I generally try to install new modules via PPM on my system. These are not necessarily the latest and greatest versions, but these are the ppd's of the module that have been tested with ActiveState Perl and will usually have no problems installing.

Also, if you are having issues with ActiveState Perl, you might also try asking for help in ActiveState's Community Forum. That's a good place to look for help with ActiveState specific issues.

As for providing more assistance, I have to admit that I can't find WWW::Proxy on CPAN. Are you sure that you have the correct module name in your post?

There's no such thing as WWW::Proxy. But your output does talk about HTTP::Proxy, so I assume that is the proper module name.
