To the reader of this poem, this poem is meant to be a perky tribute to the marvellous Kung-Fu movies I love and an affirmation of my belief that Perl is a powerful art, and it's practitioners are graceful, masterful and to be respected.
#!/usr/bin/perl
exit("The Dragon")?
study the-masters:
seek all,truth, passively and dilligently;
listen (wind,blows-soft), the-willow sighs and bends;
foreach (defined slice of,time){open mind,'let insight in'}
oh and another thing,
my $foo; it-is-stronger;
return next time;
with-experience and new respect;
# Notes to the reader.............
read Poem,$Aloud,('in a way that suggests a dubbed kung-fu movie')

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
