Long time computer geek, learned perl from the .txt
file that came w/ the DOS 4.xx version and have been
slightly to excessively evangelical about it ever since.
Familiar to contemptious w/ many languages and OSs but
am ecumenical about all; right tool for the right job.
'course if you can get the job moved to a decent *nix
platform and let perl handle it, makes life easier.
