My favorite on Windows is Texpad. It has a really well-designed GUI. There are tools, i.e. menu commands that you define yourself. Got ones for running perl, checking syntax, running with ptkdb, checking into CS-RCS, etc... And there is syntax coloring too. /jeorgen
