Hey! Being a gas station attendent is much more difficult then it sounds. No, really. You have to deal with things beeping at you and a constantly growing stack of customers, all while making sure nobody drives off, and constantly copying numbers between different machines. In other words, it's a lot like programming, except standing up and at four times the pace with a tenth of the payrate. Also, there's a difference between front-loaded and continous effort. My job doesn't require constantly doing 100%. It does, however, require learning how to do whatever needs to be done, quickly, and well. I do 120% some of the time, and 70% some of the time. Of course, the entire thing doesn't make sense unless you say "percent of what"? Warning: Unless otherwise stated, code is untested. Do not use without understanding.
