Thanks, I missed the fact that I had hard coded the store file name but had passed the reference to the file name. The sub store_object {} should read as follows:
sub store_object {
my ( $self, $sref_file ) = @_;
# Caller Check
my $return = $self->_caller_check();
if ( $return ) {
print STDERR $$return . "\n";
return $return;
}
Storable::store ( \%{ $self }, $$sref_file );
return undef;
}
Peace Out,
DeadPoet

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
