Hi supriyoch, I didnt get the goal of the above code, Can you give us the typical output text file (i mean the structure) for any known combination of t1.txt and t2.txt (that earlier produced structure!) Actually, there can be many issues like 1. correct syntax of t1.txt and t2.txt One could be: There should be no extra empty lines in these text files at the end which disturbs the program flow 2. do input text files have patterns that go beyond the capability of the perl code?
