Can Display Preferences Be Changed For Monestary Gates et. al.?

I've tried searching and also the PM FAQ to find a way to reduce the amount of text to display on the Monestary Gates and similar pages with no luck. Is there a way to set hard limits on the amount of body text displayed? Thanks, Jon

I don't think there's an option for that -- it is usually controlled by the authour of the node, by using READMORE tags.

Hmmmm, I wonder if there is any other interest in this. Having the ability to set a hard readmore limit would make navigation much easier for me at times. Is there some rationality for not having such a feature? Jon

Lack of tuits. Find a pmdevil that will champion this issue and then pester them to get it done. And once they are done help them pester us to apply said patches.

Anything pretty much is possible if you can get a pmdevil and a god to champion it.
