Yeah, I encourage the Perl experts here to get over to freshmeat, and stick up for Perl6, this guy is just spreading FUD.

    I can see the real possibility that Perl 6 and Perl 5 will co-exist as two different languages for quite a while in the future. Perl 5 has its strong selling point for certain application areas, that is exactly why, as a mainly C and Java prorgammer, for certain things I always choose Perl.
