I don't think I'll be tackling the problem further. I just waded through the 1983 paper, and it'd take me a month of Sunday's to translate it into something I could attempt to produce code from. Geez. Haven't these guys ever heard of 'worked examples', or that a picture paints a thousand words :) Examine what is said, not who speaks -- Silence betokens consent -- Love the truth but pardon error.
