I've used the screen name 'nimdokk' for since about 1996 or so (things have gotten a bit hazy after all this time). It originated with the character "Nimdok" from Harlan Ellison's short story "I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream." For some reason when I went to sign up with that name, it wasn't accepted so I added an extra 'k' to the end of it and that was that.
