review a show

It's been a very long time since i posted - my new job allows me significantly less obfu time :).
Here's a quick something:

My friends and I are off to see a kung fu demonstration by a bunch of shaolin monks on sunday. One of my friends can't make it and said:

"I can't do this weekend, so I expect a 1000-word review first thing on Monday." So I knocked this up:

@d = map { rand > .9 ? "kick" : rand > .8 ? "jump" : "punch" } 0 .. 10 +00; for ( "<b>leap through burning hoop</b>", "<b>lie on bed of spikes</b>", "<b>smash block over head</b>" ) { @a = split / /; splice( @d, rand($#d), 1 + $#a, @a ); } open(FH, ">kung_fu_review.html"); print FH "<html><body>@d</body></html>"; close(FH);
an instant (not entirely serious :)) 1000 word review (in the file kung_fu_review.html) of what i'm sure will be an amazing spectacle (if they keep to my script).
Alex

Update: it seems my review was spot on :)
