Does anybody know where I can get a precompiled XML::LibXML for ActiveState Perl 5.16 (Windows, 32 Bit), or do I have to bite the bullet and compile it from CPAN?
This is what I already tried:
- After searching around for ppm repositories, I found that nearly all of them support only lower versions of Perl (probably because 5.16 is still new). http://www.bribes.org has newer ones, but not LibXML.
- I found A guide to installing modules for Win32 and tried PPM::Repositories, but although my Repositories module (according to ppm) is up to date (version 0.19), I get error messages (see below). It seems that the ppm command line syntax has changed, but the Repositories module has not changed accordingly.
Here the error messages from running
use strict;
use warnings FATAL => qw(all);
use PPM::Repositories;
for ( keys %Repositories )
{
print `ppm repository add $_ $Repositories{$_}->{location}`;
}
