The disappointingly named Batteries and Power Supplies (Perl Scripts) section of the Microsoft Script Center Script Repository only contains one script to List UPS Information, but it might be enough to get you started on a Win32 implementation.

    Micro$oft does have VBS code, which can serve as a starting point. After all, translating from VBS to Perl should be easy &foolish_grin;
