in thread My computer broked down after perl install

  1. VB is installable on Linux ... anyone heard of WinE?
  2. I was programming at the ripe old age of 9 ... using Basic.
  3. I will never be surprised at the things people pull with computers. (CD Drive / Cupholder ... the pedal broken (trying to use the mouse like a foot-driver sewing machine ...)
  4. If there were ramen noodles and cat-fur in the vents, it very easily could've burst into flame.
I'm not saying the posting is true ... I'm saying it's theoretically possible.

At least the cat hair is. I had a monitor go out once due to excessive cat hair. My cat, when he was smaller, found that the monitor was a wonderfully warm place to sleep while I was on the PC. $75 later, the monitor was working again...

There is no emoticon for what I'm feeling now.

Please. I was also programming at age 9 (as were many here no doubt), and have seen a computer burn its power supply, and have run Wine. It doesn't change the fact that this is obviously a joke post.
