The following simple test case will crash perl on Windows. (Tried with Strawberry Perl 5.16.2). Any Windows experts might know how to fix it? (On Linux this worked fine.)
use strict;
use warnings;
use Test::More;
use Parallel::ForkManager;
eval "use utf8::all";
plan skip_all => 'Need utf8::all for this test crashing on Windows' if
+ ($@);
plan tests => 1;
my $fork = Parallel::ForkManager->new( 1 );
foreach (1) {
my $pid = $fork->start and next;
$fork->finish;
}
$fork->wait_all_children;
ok(1);

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>

Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
