I think it is a good idea, but it could be confusing since
the nature of the comments are threaded. So if you refer to
the node above, then it gets reordered by reputation, then
the comments might get confusing and the context of the response might get lost.
Also do sub threads get
bumped up simply because they respond to a highly reputable
thread?
Giving the user the option of sorting by reputation or time
would be very cool though.

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
