The gtk-perl bindings for Gtk1.x were never very complete, and Gtk1.x is obsolete as well. Gtk2::GladeXML along with Gtk2-Perl is where it's at. Scott and his crew have done an amazing job.

As far as I can tell from following the mailing list there are binary installers for Gtk2 for Win32, and precompiled versions of the Perl modules with an installer apparently exist as well.

Makeshifts last the longest.

And here's some screenshots of Gtk2-Perl on Win32 made using the dropline Gtk2 binaries for Win32 (it has an installer) and the GTK-Wimp engine. Apparently binaries of Gtk2-Perl/Win32 are not currently distributed by the project, though they're planned.

Meanwhile Wayne Keenan does offer Gtk2-Perl binaries for Win32, but apparently did not build them against dropline Gtk2/Win32 (he includes instructions on what to install).

Makeshifts last the longest.
