Dunno, I think that peoples replies to trolls are less anoying than the original trolls myself.

Update: OK so this has just been -'ve voted .. dowt. I hope the intent of the node was clear. I was simply saying that I dont want to filter threads.. if someone takes pains to reply to a troll then I have no problem reading it. Tiss just the initial ramblins I would like to see blocked.

    That's not my point, it is just that a lot of how Everything works is built on showing you the parent node of a child. How do you show the grandchildren of a node when the parent can't be shown? It winds up messy in code and on the page.

      Sorry now I follow you, I dont see this being an issue (given that I have no idea how the code works) if the filtering was only done on the newest nodes node, or -specific- other nodes. I was not proposing anything as clever as you seem to be thinking.
