    Read "Object Oriented Perl" by Damian Conway (Manning Press) It's so definative is sets the definative standard of definative-ness... An excellent book.

    I guess I could help by asking questions, since I know absolutely NOTHING/ZIP/NADA about OO perl.
    If the tutorial guys need a FAQ, I can come up with my question list in a few hours!
    #!/home/bbq/bin/perl
    # Trust no1!

    So far the best tutorial in OO is in Chapter 7, 7.2, "Object-Oriented Programming" from Advanced Perl Programming. Very nicely written and especially developmental in nature and ... not condescending, not even ironic.

    I have found that perltoot from the perldocs was also very
    helpful, not only in gaining some insight into OO in Perl, but
    into OO in general. It took some of the intimidation out of
    OO for me.

      Have you had a look at the new perlboot in 5.6.0?

      I'm hoping it's a slightly more gentle intro.
